History: Fire Emblem wiki link
Personality: At first glance, Hilda is a spoiled, lazy noblewoman who is content to have others do anything that resembles effort for her. She accomplishes this primarily through charm and manipulation, exaggerating her feminine delicacy or flattering someone until they offer to assist her. Kindness from Hilda often comes with an expectation, although she's just as likely to be friendly for its own sake depending on the person she's with.
The main reason for her lack of initiative is a fear of failure. She has seen the sort of pressure that being known for hypercompetance brings and the disappointment that failing to meet those standards brings. The way she sees it, if she doesn't put herself out there to begin with, no one can expect anything of her and she can't let anyone down.
That said, when Hilda deigns to put in the effort she's capable of a great deal. She's very perceptive, an accomplished fighter, and intensely loyal to those she believes are worth it. Her recent experience as a war leader has made those capabilities much more obvious, and she's much less likely to shy away from them as she once was.
Hilda is also quite creative, making jewelry and accessories in her free time and drawing simple illustrations. These are often created as gifts and are her way of showing that she actually cares about someone. Gifts (and acts of service, although she absolutely won't admit it) are a love language for her.
Arrival item: Freikugel (i.e., a creepy looking bone axe)

✿ life in fable
Game plans: Hilda needs a vacation after fighting in a war--while she's not as Deeply Traumatized as many of her classmates, she still has a lot of thoughts and feelings to work through now that the fighting is over. Fable will be a good place to do so without all of the Fódlan baggage tied to it. I look forward to her settling in, enjoying the cottagecore charm of the setting, and eventually opening a jewelry shop (that she will find someone to do the business management of because that's work).
Fruit trees: Apple! 🍎 FEAR THE DEER.
Any final thoughts?
